the international interior design association (IIDA) and the american society of interior designers (aSID) are the two largest professional organizations for interior designers and interior architects. both groups provide resources, scholarship opportunities, and networking events.

as the university of tennessee’s student chapter of iIDA + ASID, IA Collaborative requires 3rd and 4th years to be a member of either IIDA or ASID. 1st and 2nd years are encouraged to research their options!
